New York Times Science Reporter Interview of Anthony Fauci

Dear Mr. Wallace-Wells,             Your April 24th interview in the New York Times Magazine with Dr Anthony Fauci about what went wrong during the Covid-19 pandemic was enlightening. Although you tried to pin the tail on the donkey with questions such as “What went wrong?”, “What could we do better next time?”, and “What reforms are needed for pandemic preparedness?”, you were blind to the unrecognized but essential questions. Why were there no early therapies to treat Covid-19? Why did it take almost two years before there was any effective, early treatment for Covid-19? Why wasn’t there something available from day one to treat this viral disease? The fact that a whole class of broad-spectrum antiviral drugs exist that can treat most viral infections appears beyond the scope of knowledge of both Tony Fauci and you. You should not be expected to know that. Dr Fauci should. After all, I first handed him information about NF-kappa...

Class Action Lawsuit for Wrongful Excess Deaths Due to Covid-19 - Addendum

Dear ACLU Foundation,                 Based on its review of news coverage of all the events since it was founded in 1843, the Economist magazine rated the Covid-19 pandemic the most intensely reported news event in all that time. Covid-19 had a huge impact on the United States with over 1.1 million deaths within three years. Most of those deaths could have been prevented by using both early and late-stage broad-spectrum antiviral medications that were not used. It is difficult to imagine that the vaunted American health care system with Dr Anthony Fauci at the helm could have made such an enormous mistake to ignore existing effective medicines when the United States was supposed to be the most pandemically prepared nation on earth. Our overconfidence became our downfall. The ancient Jewish admonition that “Pride Goes Before a Fall” could never have been more apt.            ...

Class Action Lawsuit Against the NIH for Pandemic Negligence - ACLU

Dear ACLU Attorneys,              There is no more fundamental right than the right to life. When doctors make an incompetent mistake, something they should have known better than to do or failed to do and a person suffers egregious bodily injury, that is grounds for a lawsuit for medical negligence or malpractice. However if a national health authority falsely informs the public that there are no drugs to treat early Covid-19 disease when they know or should have known that is not true, and at least 500,000 unnecessary excess deaths occur, what should that be called? Scientific gross negligence? Scientific malpractice? Pandemic fraud? National negligent homicide or wrongful death? If a person can sue for one injury or death due to medical malpractice or negligence, why can there not be a class action lawsuit for the unjustified deaths of 500,000? If someone can sue for damage to health caused by contaminated water at Camp Le...

HIV to Covid-19 and Beyond

Monkeypox, HIV, SARS-CoV-2, Marburg, Ebola, Zika, H5N1. The viral attack against humanity is heating up with novel viruses emerging ever more rapidly. Unfortunately, humans keep failing to learn the lessons science tries to teach. That is why I wrote two books, Understanding Covid-19, How 500,000 American Lives Could Have Been Saved, and Dear Bill Gates, How to End Serial Pandemic Failure, HIV-1 to Covid-19.             Noble Prize laureate David Baltimore discovered the reverse transcriptase enzyme in 1970 and the NF-kB protein in 1986. Physicians used reverse transcriptase inhibitors against HIV starting with AZT in 1987. They should have added NF-kB inhibitors because they are cheaper and arguably more effective – but they did not. They were too cheap. By failing to add broad-spectrum antiviral NF-BIs against HIV, we also failed to learn how to use them against Covid-19. The continued f...
